- High blood pressure
- Bariatric Surgery
- PCOS (Polycystic ovary syndrome)

Initial consultations can be up to 1-hour and 30-minutes in length. During this appointment, we will review your pre-appointment questionnaire and discuss the following:
- Medical history
- Body composition measurements
- Diagnostic and lab testing
- Current medication and supplementation
- Overall health status
Based on your needs, we will design goals and a personalized plan of care. The dietitian will design a customized and personalized nutrition plan that fits your unique needs and goals. The initial intake with your dietitian is a chance to explore your complete medical and weight history, along with specific diet and lifestyle habits.
While the first appointment is mostly an opportunity to build a relationship and share specific concerns, you will also receive clear feedback. This can include a:
- Structured menu
- Goal setting
- Shopping list
- Exercise tips
- Supplement recommendations
- Referrals to other specialists for additional support and tests.
The objective is to acquire the necessary tools to effect positive and sustainable change.
Follow Up Consultations are usually 30 to 45-minutes in length. During follow-up sessions, we will work together to ensure you have the tools and knowledge necessary to meet your initial goals. Your goals will continue to adjust as we make progress and as your nutritional needs change. Together, we will overcome plateaus and life’s hurdles with fun, inventive approaches to keep you feeling motivated and empowered.
As you move forward, regular check-ins with your dietitian are prudent for accountability and ensuring continuous progress. Your plan may need tweaking and additional meal or recipe ideas. There may be new obstacles to troubleshoot. Most find that anywhere between 5 and 15 follow-ups are enough for long-term success.
Client Meal Planning
We can provide a customized menu to clients after conducting an initial assessment. In addition, we will work together after your initial visit to develop a meal plan that works for your condition. Meal plans are considered a la carte items and typically are not covered by insurance.
